As a Chinese
learner, after you have mastered the elementary Chinese such as the basics pronunciation, the
basic characters, and the basic communication, the next step in learning Chinese
may be passing the HSK test. Many students feel puzzled before this test. They
think it really difficult to pass it. However, if you have a proper preparation
and regular exercises, you will find it is not that hard.
To make
a better HSK preparation, we need to have a good understanding of
the typical questions in the former exams. In this class, we will come to some
exemplary questions in the HSK tests.
“Replace
the following words with a proper phrase.”
“他踢来的足球正好掉在井里。(ta1
ti1 lai2 de5 qiu2 zheng4 hao3 diao4 zai4 jing3 li3)
A.不早不晚(bu4 zao3 bu4 wan3) B.不前不后(bu4 qian2 bu2 hou4) C.不多不少(bu4 duo1 bu4 shao3) D.不大不小(bu2 da4 bu4 xiao3)”
When
we read this question, we will find the differences between these answers lie
in the adjectives they contain in these phrases. Specifically speaking, the
answer A means “not early and not later”, which emphasizes the time. And B “不前不后(bu4 qian2 bu2 hou4)” refers to either time
or space. Obviously, C means the amount and D indicates the size. Form the
previous sentence “正好掉在井里(zheng4 hao3 diao4 zai4 jing3 li3)”, we can
get to know that it means “正好” here acts as an adverb which means “just
in this place”. So the right answer to this question should be B.
